With Valentine’s Day on the horizon, perhaps your thoughts are turning to a romantic proposal?

Take a look at our top five unique places in Cornwall, perfect for popping the question.

St Nectan’s Glen

What could be a more memorable experience than declaring your love to that special someone, surrounded by a spectacular sixty-foot waterfall cascading through a hole in the rocks? Located just outside the magical town of Tintagel, St Nectan’s Glen is home to a range of beautiful woodland walks and tasty café – the perfect place to toast your future happiness with a warming mug of hot chocolate.

Padstow

Head to the stunning harbour town of Padstow, famous for its range of top restaurants and pop the question over a glass of something sparkling. Or, for those that love the outdoors, hire bikes and explore the beautiful Camel Trail – home to plenty of picturesque spots.

Trevose Head

Located just a stone’s throw from us here at Mother Ivey’s Bay Holiday Park, Trevose Head is one of our favourite places in Cornwall. Owned by the National Trust, this piece of headland offers extensive, breathtaking views of the Cornish coastline, beautiful walks and many a picture perfect proposal spot.

Bodmin Moor

Wander through the unique and atmospheric landscape of Bodmin Moor and climb to the top of one the county’s highest peaks, Rough Tor. Providing magnificent views of the moor and county beyond, what better place to say ‘I do’?

Port Isaac

Home to narrow winding streets, white-washed cottages and unique shops and restaurants, Port Isaac provides the ultimate backdrop to your romantic fairy-tale. For Doc Martin fans, why not wander up the road to the surgery and get on bended knee with only views of the ocean beyond?
