Unterst\u00fctzt von lokalen Naturschutzgruppen und Urlaubsg\u00e4sten selbst, bewertet David Bellamy Conservation nahezu alle Bereiche der Parkverwaltung \u2013 vom Schutz von Pflanzen- und Tierlebensr\u00e4umen \u00fcber die effiziente Nutzung von Energie bis hin zu Recyclingma\u00dfnahmen.<\/p>\n

Auch die Vermittlung von Wissen \u00fcber Naturschutz an Besucher gilt als wichtiges Kriterium.<\/p>\n

Es gibt drei Auszeichnungsstufen: Gold, Silber und Bronze.<\/p>\n

A special award for “Outstanding Contribution to Tourism in Cornwall,” a category in which you cannot enter but for which industry colleagues select the winner, was given to Patrick Langmaid of Mother Ivey’s Bay. Some areas of interest included his work on fair living wages, corporate social responsibility, and environmentally friendly practices.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

David Bellamy Gold Award<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

The David Bellamy Conservation Awards<\/span><\/span><\/a> \u00a0are presented annually to parks that demonstrate a proactive commitment to the environment. David Bellamy, supported by local conservation organizations and visitors, endorses nearly every aspect of park management\u2014from protecting plant and animal habitats to efficient energy use and recycling. Helping visitors understand conservation is also considered a key qualification. Three levels of excellence are awarded: Gold, Silver, and Bronze.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mother Ivey’s Bay freut sich, den VisitEngland Award erhalten zu haben.\u00a0Mit dem VisitEngland Award werden ausgew\u00e4hlte hochwertige Ferienparks ausgezeichnet und gef\u00f6rdert, die auch einen guten Anteil an erstklassigen Wohnwagen-Ferienh\u00e4usern bieten.\u00a0Dieser Preis kann nicht erreicht werden, es sei denn, die Einrichtung ist bereits Teil des Unterkunftsangebotes und erh\u00e4lt eine Bewertung mit vier oder f\u00fcnf Sternen.<\/p>\n

Ferienparks k\u00f6nnen sich nicht f\u00fcr den VisitEngland-Award bewerben: Der Assessor entscheidet, ob ein Park bei der routinem\u00e4\u00dfigen Qualit\u00e4tsbewertung ber\u00fccksichtigt werden kann.\u00a0Ist der Park berechtigt, pr\u00fcft der Gutachter, ob die Mietwohnwagen die strengen Kriterien von VisitEngland erf\u00fcllen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
