Tourism award for Mother Ivey's Bay

Management and staff had something to celebrate this autumn, when Mother Ivey's Bay Caravan Park won a bronze award at the highly prestigious Cornwall Tourism Awards.

According to a mystery shopper, the "Site is stunning to look at with beautiful flowers and Cornish hedging (this helps create additional privacy on touring pitches) site is very well maintained with good clean modern facilities, excellent friendly staff (including shop staff which is franchised) set in beautiful surroundings with a gorgeous beach."

After the awards, which were hosted by Channel 4 presenter Kirsty Allsop, director Patrick Langmaid said he was delighted with the award, which vindicated all the hard work everyone at the park had put in during 2009 and the previous years.
